Summary: 

Two of the primary contributing factors leading to increased homelessness in the State of Colorado is the cost and availability of housing in the state. To address this crisis, the State has, through the Department of Local Affairs (“DOLA”), established a support fund to serve persons experiencing homelessness.  This program provides rental assistance, housing vouchers and eviction defense assistance.  

HB25-1019 ensures that program funds for people experiencing homelessness are efficiently used.
