Certified Licensed History Request

The Colorado Division of Real Estate will provide a Certification of Licensure based upon the information contained within our records. Information older than seven (7) years is not available and can not be provided.   

The certified license history request application allows for the upload of verification documents that need to be completed for other states. You must request a license history to have these documents completed. The Division of Real Estate does not complete education exemption certification requests.

Mortgage Loan Originators & Mortgage Companies

  • License histories for Mortgage Loan Originators and Mortgage Companies are not issued by the Division of Real Estate however the history of these licenses can be found at NMLS Consumer Access.
  • If you are an MLO or Mortgage Company that needs a verification form completed for another state agency, please email those forms to dora_mortgage_company@state.co.us.

License histories for the following license types can be obtained through the Division’s eLicense management system:

  • Real Estate Brokers
  • Real Estate Companies
  • Real Estate Appraisers
  • Appraisal Management Companies
  • Subdivisions
  • Subdivision Projects
